Its efforts focus on helping animals kept in inappropriate conditions and suffering in disaster and conflict zones. FOUR PAWS provides rapid help and long-term improvements enshrined in legislation.
Friends of the Earth’s climate friendly food programme aims to mitigate climate change, improve public health, and advance racial justice by reducing the overconsumption of animal foods and supporting a transition away from factory farming towards a just, healthy, and regenerative food system. It focuses on policy reform and food procurement practices of public institutions with massive purchasing power, such as schools.

One of the largest environmental organisations in the United States, Natural Resources Defense Council fights for sustainable policies from federal, state, and local governments and industrial corporations, and works to influence federal and state agencies, Congress and state legislatures, and courts to reduce global warming, limit pollution, and generally conserve energy and increase sustainability of commerce and manufacturing.
The mission of Pivot Food Investment is to highlight the risks of factory farming. To that end, it moves money away from factory farming and towards plant-based foods.
Plant Pure Communities builds stronger, healthier, and more sustainable communities through collaborative research, policy, and programme activities that use evidence-based nutrition education to address personal, public, and planetary health. An international charity based in Amsterdam, True Animal Protein Price Coalition works on policy advocacy for true pricing of meat and dairy to include their external costs, such as GHG and other polluting emissions, biodiversity loss, and health expenditures.

Its Food Programme focuses on how to feed 10 billion people by 2050 without destroying the planet and Cool Food initiative engages entities including IKEA and Harvard to reduce the climate impact of the food they serve.
Zero Hour is a youth-led movement creating entry points, training, and resources for new young activists and organisers (and adults who support its vision) who want to take concrete action around climate change. Together, it is a movement of unstoppable youth organising to protect their rights and access to natural resources and a clean, safe, and healthy environment that will ensure a livable future where people not only survive, but flourish.
